I want to thank all the team leaders for all your hard work keeping your teams together and making almost all commitments . I think the skill level overall really improved this year with the competition between the top teams getting much closer . All the teams are playing on a much higher level then in the past . There is a possibility of expanding to 24 teams next year with interest from Lake Forest , Benedictine and UW Eau Claire [ a second team in addition to their UMLL team ] .
I look forward to feedback about improving the League next year . One thought I've had is only working a winners bracket on the Sunday of the tournament , or have a limited number of other games on Sunday . Let me know what your thinking .

We have just completed the 4th year of the GLLL . The year and the tournament went exceptionally well . A big congratulations to UW PLATTEVILLE the 2007 GLLL Champions after defeating last years champs UW Madison Red , 6-4 , in a hard fought game . Platteville played exceptionally well and deserves credit for all the dedication they demonstrated , capping an very good season with a big win . UW Madison White won the B Division title with a 6-5 OT victory over Whitewater . A special thanks to Aaron Vermedall and the whole NIU team for doing such a good job hosting - thanks for getting us unbelievably good weather as well !!
